Information collected

TekPlastic may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, enquiry details, requested quantities and stock notification requests. The website may also receive routine technical data such as browser type, device type, IP address, requested pages and error logs.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, record product interest, provide website functionality, maintain security, diagnose faults and understand which pages are useful. TekPlastic does not ask you to submit payment-card details through the contact or stock-notification forms.

Storage and service providers

Website data may be processed or stored using service providers that support hosting, databases, file storage, email and website analytics. The current application uses Google Firebase services for website data and hosting-related functions. These providers may process information in locations outside Australia under their own privacy and security terms.

Sharing information

TekPlastic does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers where needed to operate the website, to professional advisers where necessary, or where disclosure is authorised or required by law.

Security and retention

Reasonable technical and organisational controls are used to protect stored information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, business records, dispute handling or legal obligations.

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held about you. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business records.
